Lions Stop R.L. Turner in Away Game
February 4, 2010

After missing several slam dunks in the afternoon pep rally, the Lions had something to prove on Tuesday night against R.L. Turner in Carrolton.

Their 52-47 victory was proof enough the Lions have the power to move into a playoff berth in district play.

Currently 6-4 in district play and 12-15 for the season, the Lions had leadership on the court from Devonte Green with over one-third of the points belonging to him.  Green scored 23 points on Tuesday night to keep the Turner Lions quiet.  Alton Dennis also went into double digits for the Lions with 12 points.

The Lions will be at home on Friday night as they host the J.J. Pearce Mustangs.
